NHL Preseason:

Opponent: Winnipeg Jets
Location: MTS Centre, Winnipeg, Manitoba
Time: 7PM CT
TV: NHL Network

The Wild head north of the border tonight to face division rival Winnipeg at 7PM, TV coverage will be on NHL Network.

Roster battles are heating up and game scenarios are what will determine who stays and who goes.

Darcy Kuemper is expected to get his first preseason action tonight between the pipes, also making their preseason debuts will be Erik Haula and Jordan Schroeder.

Bruce Boudreau is taking a long look at Wild first round picks from 2014 and 2015, Alex Tuch and Joel Eriksson Ek, both in their first NHL camp. Kurtis Gabriel, Tyler Graovac, Zac Dalpe, and Ryan Carter are in the mix looking to make the squad up front as well. All of the aforementioned are expected to be in the lineup tonight.

The preseason isn't about wins and losses, it's about compete levels and winning battles. It's about intangibles that separate winners from contenders. The final roster spots are key to every team, but essential to teams that expect to compete for the more than just an 82 game regular season.

Tonight could go a long way in determining who is going to stay in the mix.

Let's Go Crazy!

Let's Go Wild!
