The Wild return home tonight to face the Devils tonight in St. Paul. New Jersey took the first matchup at the Prudential Center back in late January on Taylor Hall's OT winner 2-1. The Devils also won the last game these teams played here in the State of Hockey by that same 2-1 score.

New Jersey has struggled to find consistent offense which is nothing new, but they are starting to get healthy and Taylor Hall is one of the better scorers in the game. New Jersey is wrapping up a four game road trip that has seen them go 2-0-1 with wins in Calgary and Vancouver and a tough OT loss in Edmonton.

The Devils are trying to claw their way back into the playoff race and the renewed confidence in their game is fueling that fire. They are and always have been a goaltender/defense driven team and Cory Schneider is one of the league's best netminders for certain. He keeps the Devils in every game and has stolen his share of games along the way.

The Wild need to continue to play a disciplined game where they dictate the flow of the play. It is very easy to get trapped playing the Devils and their "rope a dope" style of play. That will be tonight's challenge for the Wild to stay hot and keep the game simple. Get pucks through to the net and lots of bodies in front of Schneider.

It is an easy game for the Wild to not necessarily let down, but more so to be a bit overconfident coming off the big wins in Dallas and Chicago over the weekend.
