What Could Be Coming Back From Vancouver For JayBo's Rights? |

If Ek's reports are true, I'm perplexed/concerned as to what could be coming back to Florida. The bidding has been fierce for JayBo's rights, and there has been much speculation that Philly was leading the pack by dangling Lupul. But since this seems to not be the case, let's start speculating on who and what is in play here.
Now before I say this, I need Canucks fans to remain calm. First and foremost I am a Panther fan and this is me hoping for the best deal possible, especially since we've been killed in all major trades in franchise history. I'm hoping we can pull this one out. Also, if Vancouver has won the bidding war for Jay, then what they give will probably be too much in many fans in Vancouver.
My guess and hope is that Vancouver is offering their #1 pick tomorrow (22nd overall), and
Alexandre Burrows. If Bieksa was substituted or included in the mix, that would be great as well. If Burrows was too steep of a price than I'm sure Florida would be happy with Bernier or Raymond instead.
What it comes down to is Florida's opinion of
Keaton Ellerby and the rest of their defensive youth. Do the feel they must replace Jay with some defense or can they just address the more problematic offense and hope things fall in place? Pivotal times indeed for the interim Panthers brass.
So let's debate away! I'm expecting the "you're crazy" comments, but hey, this for fun so let's get at it!
Thanks for reading, and for your input...
