The New York Islanders made major roster moves today as the opening night group becomes a bit more clear. First New York has waived Scotty Mayfield. If he clears, and I believe he will, he will report to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers.
The Isles also announced that they sent Michael Dal Colle, Josh Ho-Sang, Ross Johnston, Devon Toews, Kyle Burroughs, Matt Finn, Jessie Graham, Chris Gibson and Stephon Williams to the Sound Tigers.
Finally the team has released Steve Bernier, Colin Markison and Tanner Fritz from their PTOs. Both Markison and Fritz have AHL deals in place and will report to Bridgeport.
