All-star weekend is now behind us and the Isles return to practice as they prepare for their game with the Minnesota Wild tomorrow night. The team made two roster moves today as the have called up Scotty Mayfield and J-F Berube. Berube's conditioning stint in the AHL has ended and he had to be recalled or placed on waivers.

The recall of Scotty Mayfield will be security if d-man Johnny Boychuk is not ready to return from his stint on injured reserves. In other injury news, Islander prospect Ryan Pulock is day to day with a "lower body" injury after blocking a shot in his last game. Pulock will miss the AHL all-star game tonight and was replaced by Alan Quine.

After a long layoff what are the odds the Islanders come out flat and disorganized tomorrow night? It would so be the Isles thing to do. Hopefully Head Coach Jack Capuano will have the boys ready to play in front of the home crowd. I was unable to write that last sentence without bursting into laughter, but I digress.

Speaking of the Islander crowd, our guest on the Podcast today is Sports Anthropologist Jillian Fisher. Jillian travels the country looking for sport's best stories and really finds great events that all sport fans should experience. She recently spent a game with the Blue and Orange Army and witnessed first hand how great Isles fans are. You can read her story at fisherjillian.com Enjoy!
