MTL has nothing going on Max Pacioretty trade front. At this point, the plan is to keep him in the lineup. That could change but for now...c’est tout.

We are proud announce that Max Pacioretty of the Montreal Canadiens is now a client of Octagon.

The #Oilers have acquired goalie Hayden Hawkey from @CanadiensMTL in exchange for a 5th round selection at the 2019 #NHLDraft. Hawkey went 24-12-3 with a 2.04 GAA & .919 save % as a junior with @FriarsHockey in 2017-18. pic.twitter.com/gbUzqAn9cM

Jesperi Kotkaniemi is a complete, highly skilled centre. Playmaking may be his best strength. An example, showcasing his ability to find teammates across the ice and in dangerous areas.#Habs pic.twitter.com/XzW0sfCUNN

#Habs take Jesse Ylönen with their #35 pick. A speedy winger was our third ranked Finn this season. Read more about Ylönen here: https://t.co/vZK8sNL9yE #2018NHLdraft #PelicansFi pic.twitter.com/4EfmB6P86f

The Habs got tremendous value in getting Jacob Olofsson at #56. He will become their 3rd line Centre down the road & may have a shot at the 2C spot.
— NA Central Scouting (@MarkSeidel) June 23, 2018
Jacob Olofsson is a solid two-way player who played in a men's league this season. He works hard on defence and can setup teammates quite well on the attack. He has deceptively good hands too. Good center option for the Habs. Little doubt he will play in the league at some point pic.twitter.com/sjUuoX9CxV

This is what Cam Hillis' game is all about: Pressure on defence, transition the puck, patiently wait for a lane to open up. #Habs pic.twitter.com/L0cukFBkOW

Jordan Harris wasn't a guy that got a lot of pub but he has a lot of skill coming out of Kimball. Quick rushing defender. A lot of NHL area guys liked him a lot.

Allan McShane is an all-around solid and smart player. He didn't shine very often this season, but possesses a great shot and handling abilities. He could rebound in a major way in 2018-19. pic.twitter.com/zCiTFPKkC7

Montreal selects Jack Gorniak, Wisconsin high schooler. Had heard they they were VERY high on him

Montreal snags Cole Fonstad at No. 128; based on the math that's a fantastic pick. Usually it's pretty hard to find a point-per-game major junior guy outside the top 100.
— Jonathan Willis (@JonathanWillis) June 23, 2018
Cole Fonstad is great value at 128th. He had 73 points in 72 games. Continues to trend of playmaking centres. Here's Fonstad dangling fellow #Habs prospect Josh Brook: pic.twitter.com/3XGEcqTAXl
