According to John Glennon from the Tennessean the deal is a 3 year entry level contract.

His article can be found here: John's Article

So the 3 year is confirmed. My CBA researcher suggests that means he will make around $875,000 per year. (Thanks Mike)

It will be quite interesting to see Colin and Cal O'Reilly battle it out for a center spot in training camp. That is a competition that I think will occur.

Just announced that Colin Wilson will be signing his pro contract today. This a move that is only natural considering his fantastic season at the national championship winning Boston University. Also, the fact that Wilson was the only college athlete selected to play in the World Championships this month speak highly of him as well. He'll join fellow Pred Ryan Suter on Team USA.

So, that's some good news. The question is now with Wilson signed what centers stay and go to make room for the 08 first round selection.

When I get the contract details (if I even do) I'll fill them in with an update.

Take care.
