Two items posted by Ek: (1) Martin to coach Montreal. Does this mean that Lemaire will get the nod to coach the Panthers? I think so as his primary off-season residences are in Montreal and Florida. He still wants to winter in Florida AND he also wants to coach. Makes sense to me. What do you think? (2) Parrish to Minnesota with the rumor race coming down to between Minne and NYI, another former team of Mark's. He's on the books already on the buyout. Maybe he comes back for the buyout plus and is of use to the new GM and/or coach. Think it ain't (possible)? Maybe, but we'll see. I'll keep digging with sources on this one. What do you think on bringing Parrish back? It would seem to satisfy the thirst for home grown talent. Then again drafting Jordan Schroeder would also do that and/or seeing Danny Irmen in the Wild Uni next year. Possible? Think it ain't? If not, tell me your thoughts? That's all for now.

P.S. Regarding the Stanley Cup Finals. I really thought I was cheering for Pittsburgh until I started watching Game 1. How can you not be a fan of the Big Red Machine aka the Winged Wheel. Sure, anyone can cheer for the underdog. But the underdog will NOT hoist the Cup this year. And you can take that to the bank!
