"Change". The moment that word came off my finger tips, I immediately thought back to this last Presidential election. What is it about change that we as human beings take comfort in? For all intents and purposes, change can only be one of two things: better or worse. Notwithstanding the possibility that things could get worse with change, we still take comfort in it.

Kudos to new owner Craig Leipold for not being afraid to pull the trigger. I really think he got this one right. The Wild have struggled to succeed. Risebrough did an o.k. job, but in a hockey market like Minnesota and given the state of the Wild, changes and BIG ones were needed and now will be provided.

So, to you, the great hockey minds of hockeybuzz.com, I ask this of you: who is out there and whom will Mr. Leipold tap as the next GM and who will the next GM hire to coach this team next year and into the future and, perhaps more importantly, why will this person/these people be chosen? And, will it be for the better or will it be worse for this struggling franchise?

Let's hear it folks!

Again, hats off to Mr. Leipold for pulling the trigger. Now, let's see what he does with this opportunity. GO WILD!!!!!!!!!!!
