Looking to close out their Western Conference Quarterfinal series, Lindy Ruff's Dallas Stars return home to the American Airlines Center on Friday night to take on John Torchetti's Minnesota Wild. Game time is 8:30 p.m. CDT. The game will be televised on Fox Sports Southwest and NBC Sports Network.

The Stars grabbed a commanding three games to one lead in the series on Wednesday night in St. Paul, skating off with a 3-2 victory. All of the scoring took place in the second period.

The Wild grabbed a pair of one-goal leads on tallies by Jason Pominville and Charlie Coyle only the see Dallas strike back on power play tallies by Ales Hemsky and Patrick Eaves. With 1:09 left in the second period, Jason Spezza put the Stars ahead to stay.

Antti Niemi, making his first start of the series, made 14 saves in the third period (Dallas was outshot, 14-2) to enable the Stars to leave the building with the win. Niemi is slated to start in Game Five in Dallas. Losing goaltender Devan Dubnyk turned back 19 of 22 Dallas shots.

The Stars remain without Tyler Seguin (Achilles tendon laceration). For Miinesota, Thomas Vanek (upper body) officially remains day-to-day while Zach Parise (upper body) has gone from out indefinitely to a week-to-week basis.
