Alexander Radulov scored on a 2-on-1 rush in overtime to provide the Dallas Stars with a 2-1 road win over the Vancouver Canucks on Monday night. The Russian forward's 4th goal of the season ended a thrilling, back-and-forth OT with several prime scoring chances for both teams.

Ben Bishop came up with multiple crucial saves for the Stars -- and also got a bit of help from his goal posts a couple times -- in earning the win. Overall, Bishop stopped 38 of 39 Canucks' shots.
Jakob Markström turned back 27 of 29 in a losing cause.

The game was scoreless until 3:11 of the second period. With the Stars on the power play, Seguin parked himself in the left circle and ripped a laser beam of a one-timer high to the long side off a feed from Radulov. Jamie Benn got the secondary assist.

Dallas' narrow lead held until 6:00 of the third period when the Canucks scored a power play marker of their own. Tallying for the first time as a Canuck, Sam Gagner poked home a Thomas Vanek rebound for the game-tying goal. The sequence started with an initial Stars shorthanded counterattack chance after Michael Del Zotto was unable to hold a too-hot-to-handle puck at the blueline. Markström ventured far out of his net to play the puck to safety and Daniel Sedin started the Dallas rush back the other way, ending with Gagner jumping on a loose puck and jabbing it into the net.

The Stars were outshot 16-9 in the scoreless first period. Second period shots were 11-10 in the Canucks' favor before Vacouver held an 11-7 shot edge in the third period. In OT, Bishop made one outstanding save and the Stars put a pair of shots on Markström amid back-and-forth attacks before Radulov elected to shoot on a 2-on-1 and found the net. Dan Hamhuis earned the lone assist.

With the win, Dallas improved to 7-5-0. The Canucks dropped to 6-3-2.
