On Tuesday, the Flyers host the Islanders at the Wells Fargo Center. On Tuesday, the Flyers play the Devils at the PPL Center in Allentown.

3) In Saturday's practice session, Flyers head coach Dave Hakstol conducted a much more battle-drill oriented day than the opening session on Friday.

"Today there was a little more battle in practice than there was yesterday, but there was also some subtle details mixed into almost each of the drills, but there was definitely more battles in there today with tight spaces, which is what it comes down to in a lot of game situations," Hakstol said during his media availability after the end of practice.

4) Flyers captain Claude Giroux was a healthy scratch (for the third time in the tournament) as Team Canada bombarded former Flyers goalie Sergei Bobrovsky with 47 shots and skated off with a 5-3 victory over Team Russia in the World Cup of Hockey semifinals. Canada will play the winner of Sunday's semifinal between Team Sweden and Team Europe, featuring Flyers players Pierre-Edouard Bellemare and Mark Streit. The game will start at 1 p.m. ET and be televised on ESPN in the United States and the CBC in Canada.

5) Flyers left wing prospect Oskar Lindblom posted an assist in Brynäs IF Gävle's 3-1 loss to Frölunda HC Göteborg in the road half of an opening weekend home-and-home set on Saturday. On Friday, Lindblom scored two goals in a 7-2 blowout victory on home ice. Flyers goaltending prospect Felix Sandström was the backup goalie on Saturday after stopping 16 of 18 shots in Friday's win.

6) Flyers 2016 seventh-round pick David Bernhardt scored his second goal of the season for the Djurgårdens IF Stockholm J20 team in a 4-1 home victory over Modo J20 in a J20 SuperElit game on Sunday. Heading into this game, the offensive-minded defenseman had racked up a staggering 21 shots on goal in the first three games, recording four points (one goal, three assists) before adding to those totals earlier today.
