The Flyers had 13 participants in Tuesday's morning skate. Mikhail Vorobyev has been summoned from Phantoms camp in Allentown and will be in the lineup tonight. The scratches: Ivan Provorov, Radko Gudas, Wayne Simmonds, Matt Read, Valtteri Filppula, Jori Lehterä. The game night skater roster is below. Brian Elliott will start in goal, backed up by Michal Neuvirth.






PRESEASON GAMEDAY: FLYERS VS. RANGERS

In the back end of a preseason home-and-home set, the Flyers will host the New York Rangers at the Wells Fargo Center on Tuesday night. Game time is 7 p.m. EDT. The game will be televised locally on TCN.

On Monday night, the Flyers dropped a 3-2 overtime decision to the Rangers at Madison Square Garden. Rookie defenseman hopeful Travis Sanheim scored both Flyers goals, while Michal Neuvirth stopped 28 of 31 shots and had no chance on either of New York's regulation goals. Rick Nash (power play), Mika Zibanejad and defenseman Ryan McDonagh (overtime) scored for the Rangers, while Henrik Lundqvist stopped 37 of 39 Flyers shot.

The Flyers will hold an optional morning skate on Tuesday at the Skate Zone in Voorhees. Tuesday's roster/ lines will be posted when available. Head coach Dave Hakstol figures to dress most or all of the players who were not in Monday's lineup: Oskar Lindblom, Mike Vecchione, Taylor Leier, Sam Morin, and Andrew MacDonald. Brian Elliott will get the start in goal, and is slated to play the entire game.
