A very limited number of single-seat tickets remain for the Flyers Alumni vs Penguins Alumni 50th Anniversary Game at the Wells Fargo Center on Saturday Jan. 14. Tickets are also selling rapidly for the Golden Anniversary Reception at the SugarHouse Casino on Jan. 13.

All Flyers Alumni attending Alumni Weekend will be at both events. The Golden Anniversary Reception is fans' once-in-a-lifetime opportunity to meet dozens of Flyers players from every era of team history. Here is the breakdown:

Flyers Alumni confirmed attending and playing in Alumni Game

Bill Barber - Bob Clarke - Reggie Leach
John LeClair - Eric Lindros - Mikael Renberg
Brian Propp - Dave Poulin - Tim Kerr
Simon Gagne -Danny Briere- Todd Fedoruk
Murray Craven - Orest Kindrachuk - Bob Kelly

Joe Watson - Jim Watson
Brad Marsh - Mark Howe
Luke Richardson - Eric Desjardins
Terry Carkner - Kjell Samuelsson

Brian Boucher
Neil Little

Participating as Flyers Alumni coaches/special guests, but not playing: Keith Primeau, Dave Schultz, Doug Crossman, Ed Hospodar, Bill Clement, Larry Goodenough, Paul Holmgren, Andre "Moose" Dupont, Darren Jensen, Don Saleski, Ray Allison, Terry Crisp.

Alumni Weekend 1967-68 reunion attendees: Bernie Parent, Doug Favell, Lou Angotti, Leon Rochefort, Brit Selby, Forbes Kennedy, John Miszuk, Joe Watson (playing), Garry Peters, Don Blackburn, one additional possible.

The Golden Anniversary Reception tickets are pricey -- $200 for a single ticket, $350 per pair when bought in multiples of two -- but keep in mind that all proceeds will stay in the Delaware Valley community through the Flyers Alumni Associations' charitable and community initiatives (including its pledge to commit $2 million to the Ed Snider Youth Hockey Foundation's rink-building project).

Also keep in mind that there has never been an event with this many Flyers from every era in attendance. It dwarfs even the Winter Classic Alumni Game in its scope of participation and the previous event did not include a meet-and-greet component for Flyers fans. Admission tickets include food and drinks. By way of entertainment, there will be special panels featuring Flyers Alumni and hosted by renowned hockey historian, Liam Maguire. Musical entertainment will be hosted by iconic Philadelphia disc jockey Jerry "The Geator with the Heater" Blavat.

A neat touch to the Alumni Game on the 14th is that it will be the first time that Flyers great Reggie Leach and his son, former Penguins forward Jamie Leach, will play on opposing teams in an NHL Alumni Game. Flyers Alumni defensemen Jeff Chychrun and Gordie Roberts and forwards Mike Bullard and Mitch Lamoureux are also Penguins Alumni and will be playing on the Penguins' side for this game. Note: None of the Penguins Alumni players will be attending the SugarHouse event on the 13th.

The biggest name playing on the Penguins' side is Hockey Hall of Fame center Bryan Trottier. Others of note include goalies Jocelyn Thibault and J-S Aubin, forwards Colby Armstrong, Ryan Malone, Greg Malone, Dave Hannan, Troy Loney, and Phil Bourque as well as defensemen Dennis Owchar, Francois Leroux, Kim Clackson and Doug Bodger. Coaches and special guests include the legendary Eddie Johnston, Craig Patrick, Rick Kehoe and Pierre "Lucky" Larouche.

No, Penguins owner Mario Lemieux is not participating on the Penguins' side. Rick Tocchet, who was part of the Flyers Tough Guys Heritage Night and is a current Pittsburgh assistant coach, is unavailable to attend because the Penguins have a game in Detroit on Jan. 14. Mark Recchi, who played for the Flyers Alumni in the 2012 Winter Classic's Alumni Game, is the Penguins' player development coach and is unavailable. Ron Francis, now the Carolina Hurricanes' general manager, is also unable to attend.

It would have been great for the rivalry's sake if Lemieux and the others were available. The reality is, however, the upcoming weekend is truly all about celebrating 50 seasons of Flyers history and raising money that will be earmarked for worthy causes in the Delaware Valley.
