Bronze medal game in the 2018 Olympics - off to a sloppy start in first five minutes everyone took a quick nap and then... it exploded.
31 seconds brought 3 goals. First up Matt Robinson shoots the puck towards the net, Andrew Ebbett re-directs it to make it 1-0 on PP.
Martin Ruzicka exits the penalty box, face-off, and the Czech Republic get the puck quickly jump into Canada's zone a shot that deflects far away from Kevin Poulin, another shot from Czech's and Ruzicka puts it in to tie the game.
Next shift and Chris Kelly is in his place - re-direct from the front of the net and it's 2-1 Canada.
Although Czechia tried to push back towards the end of 1st Brandon Kozun and Derek Roy go 2-on-1, Roy sneaks the puck into the net and it's 3-1 Canada after one period of hockey.

The score did not change after a snoozing 2nd period meaning that the game would be decided in the 3rd period. Although both teams exchanged a few chances it wasn't enough to make an impact on the game.

In the 3rd period, Canada started playing a little more active than they did before and quickly made it 4-1, but 1st period would repeat itself - Next shift and Czech would come back within two goals from a snipe by Kovar.

With a little over 10 left to play Chris Kelly sniped another goal top shelf to make ti 5-2 and seemingly clinch a bronze medal for Team Canada.

However Czech Republic and Martin Erat didn't want to give up once again with a quick answer to stay in the game, Willie Desjardins decided to challenge the call for goaltender interference and to overturn and retain three goal lead for his team.
Wojtek Wolski and Roman Cervenka both exchanged another set of goals to make it 6-3
With 3 minutes left to play Czechia decided to pull their goalie in order to try and save their Olympic medal hope, they managed to score one while Canada managed to secure their bronze victory.
