Team Canada has named its roster for Sochi Open

From 5th-9th of August Team Canada will gather to play in ''Sochi Hockey Open'' tournament, where the host - HK Sochi, have invited multiple KHL teams, as well as Russian Olympic team and Team Canada, that has been built from in Europe based players.

At the tournament besides Team Russia and Team Canada, teams such as SKA St.Petersburg, Metallurg Magnitogorsk and Kunlun Red Stars will take part.

All teams will be split into two groups, and play each other once, then move off to the second phase, where there will be three deciding games. Group winners will play for the first place, but teams that will seed 2-3 will battle it out for 3-5th place.
