KHL regular season schedule announced.

The Regular season of 10th KHL season will begin on August 21st and run till March 1st league has announced.

Leagues official calendar was announced on Wednesday, July 12th in Moscow. According to the paperwork handed 27 teams will participate in the anniversary season, playing the grand total of 756 games. Each team will have to step on the ice to play 56 times. The regular season will run for 193 days, in which 145 of those will be game days. 33 days in the regular season have been taken by the Olympic timeout.

Gagarin Cup will keep the same format, 16 teams, 8 per conference and run for 55 days. The predicted amount of games played in post-season is from 60 to 105.



Puck drops on August 21st for the annual Lokomotiv Cup between Gagarin Cup Winner SKA St.Petersburgh and Regular Season champions CSKA Moscow.
