KHL All-Star captains announced

10th seasons best players will gather in Astana ''Barys'' Arena. For the 2nd time in a row, the Russian Junior Hockey Leagues all-star will play a part of festivities a few days prior to the big event. On January 13th the skills competition will take place.

On January 14th in the main event - the all-star game will be played between four division teams. Each team will carry one goalie, nine players, and one junior league player. After two semi-finals the winner will be decided in a game between two of the best divisions.

A few weeks ago, we found out the rosters, today was time to meet the captains.

Ilya Kovalchuk from SKA St.Petersburg, Andrei Markov from AkBars Kazan, Nigel Dawes from Barys Astana and Dmitri Kagarlitsky from Severstal Cherepovets.





The full rosters are as follows:

BOBROV DIVISION

Goaltenders: Ryan Zapolski (Jokerit, journalists' choice), Igor Shestyorkin (SKA, KHL's choice);
Defensemen: Mark-Andre Gragnani (Dinamo Minsk, fans' choice), Dmitry Kalinin (Spartak, fans' choice), Patrik Hersley (SKA, journalists' choice), Sami Lepisto (Jokerit, KHL's choice);
