The Washington Capitals will select 31st at the draft Tomorrow.

They also have picks in the second, third, fourth, sixth and seventh round.

Last year they did not have a first round pick. Who will they pick?

It is a mystery and I'd be lying if I said I knew anything about any of the players outside of the top ten pick.

The Salary Cap is going up to almost 80 million, and they currently have $64 million (roughly) spent.

Other than Tom Wilson and John Carlson, all core players are locked up already.

They may or may not want to re-sign Devonte Smith-Pelly and Michel Kempny who are also free agents.

It will be interesting to see if they spend the money on guys they already have or if they look to let a couple of them go and spend the money to bring in better players.

Barry Trotz signed with the Islanders. I don't have an opinion on that.
