Breaking: Zach Parise is out with a fractured sternum suffered in game 3 and is listed as week-to-week.

Well it was the worst kept secret in Winnipeg that Tyler Myers had flown home for further evaluation yesterday. No one knows what seems to be the problem with his leg/foot after the collision with Foligno and then the boards. Best case scenario is that he gets looked at and is ready for game five in Winnipeg on Friday night. What that means for the Jets remains to be seen but expect the words 'game time decision' to come from Paul Maurice's mouth.

Based on reports from our intrepid media in St. Paul, Poolman left the ice and Niku stayed out for extra work meaning that the more seasoned rookie would play tonight. Now does he play alongside Chiarot or does Maurice adjust the lines and lets Poolman play with Morrow to give him some more experience?

As for what happens tonight- is it anybody's guess? Hardly. These two teams are now in a war, this game will be the battle that defines the series and if either team can enforce their will, how that happens will be fascinating.

The stakes are huge tonight and if you are a Jets fan do you feel confident given the way the game went on Sunday? You should feel no different than any other adversarial moment from the season as the team/players certainly don't. If wins were given for how teams handle adversity via their media performances the Jets won 5-2 on Monday.

For them it was business as usual and they reminded everyone that they were not going to win 16 straight. In fact, the responses were eerily similar to what we heard all season. Regroup, focus on the roles, cover better, etc etc etc. yada yada yada. The responses are the like the Jets on the ice a disciplined methodical approach.

That might be the best thing about the Jets, their methodical approach that limits emotion and wildly veering play. They've been doing it for some time and I have often said to people 'these wins seem almost machine like' as the team has been so consistent. It's no secret though the Wild did a very good job of creating a climate that would create inconsistency, so how does a team counter that?

The Jets need to play their game because when they got drawn into what the Wild wanted the steered clear of what had them winning games 1 and 2. The other important aspect that has to be noted is the Jets defence has to make some space for Hellebuyck to see and move in front of the net. The Wild threw everything in front of the net and had success doing it and there's no reason to expect they won't do it again. However without Parise things look far worse.

Jets have a golden opportunity tonight but it will not come easy even without Parise.
