Go to the THE RUMOR CHART for real-time updates 2:30pm: Add Tomas Vokoun to the names who may be on the market. 1pm update: The "possible shocker" from yesterday between Anaheim and Montreal seems to have lost momentum. Also, Handzus to Blues (e3), Ducks (e2), Colorado (e2).

All these rumours came from various sources throughout the evening and early morning:

The Coyotes are shopping Boynton (e2)

Shane Hnidy to Buffalo (e2), Vancouver (e2)

Slava Kozlov to Dallas (e4), Detroit (e2)

Ruslan Fedotenko to Atlanta (e2), Carolina (e3), Detroit (e1)

Jeff Hamilton to Toronto (e3), Washington (e2)

Briere to Philadelphia (e3)

There is more talk that Marleau could be moved to a team in the East. The four leading candidates are Montreal (e4), the NY Islanders (e3), the Devils (e2), and Boston (e2)...but as a source told me "It is in Montreal's court to be certain. They (the Habs) are trying to get something done prior to the Draft.

Word is that Shanahan is getting close to returning to the the Rangers and if he does he will try and sway his friend Gomez to join the Blue shirts.

The Dallas Stars are interested in Steen from Toronto. (e2)

Many people are speculating that Keenan in Calgary means that Bertuzzi is heading to Calgary...I don't see that. I see Bertuzzi in one of three places based on my conversations. Detroit, Montreal, and Philadelphia.

The Oilers are working very hard to land a player. Two people that we continue to hear are Redden (e3) and Pitkanen (e2). However I have also hear the Oilers have interest in Olli Jokinen, and may put a huge package together...

Eric Boulton is on the radar for San Jose (e2) and Boston (e3).

Another source, "I would be shocked if the Habs do not move up and get Esposito." A few words about Angelo. I think the Flyers should jump on him at #2. I truly believe he is the player they need, and I have been saying for weeks that Angelo is being completely overlooked for his talents. I have talked to some people I really trust and they say he is "far and away" the most talented player in this draft, and due to the pressure he has been under by coming in so young and being touted so highly. He is the Phil Kessel of this draft and I believe is the most NHL ready now..

More on all the draft stuff when I arrive in Columbus in less than 48 hours. Really looking forward to the draft. I wasn't going to attend this one, but I am quite certain that this draft will be nutty when it comes to trades...

Sure has been a fun few sleepless days, looking forward to the 1 and a half hours that I will be out of touch on the plane Friday.
