Hearing tonight that the Leafs and Bruins are talking once again to St Louis about Kevin Shattenkirk. Obviously, the money NOT spent on Jimmy Vesey comes into play here, but I have been told that both teams, along with Montreal are still very much in the conversation regarding the defender. NJ is another team with an outside shot at Shattenkirk, and is another team of course who was very much in the Vesey hunt.

One source added that "the Bruins and Leafs are both upset about Vesey as well as their respective fanbases and many said yesterday they could see them intensifying talks with the Blues and that is indeed the case tonight."
