Another addition to the RUMOUR CHART today is Montreal's Saku Koivu.

To me, it feels like the season is just starting today. The rumors are really starting to fly...we are a few weeks away from UFA Day, July 1. I don't know how connected to the Vinny to Montreal Rumors these are, but this morning comes word that three teams are showing interest in Saku...The Predators(e2), The Stars(e2) and The Canucks(e1). There is no one out there that I respect more than Saku. He has been the face and heart of this great franchise for a long time..

Also, I want to get back to the "You're the GM Game" today. How this works is I play the agent and you play the GM. Tell me why you want ot sign valuable UFA defenseman Kimmo Timonen. I will tell you this...We are looking for at least three years, but would prefer 5. Kimmo is currently captain of the Preds and wouldn't mind staying as well.
