Calgary Flames GM Brad Treliving took care of another bit of housekeeping today in signing Oliver Kylington to a three-year entry-level contract.
The Swedish blue liner was the team's second choice - Rasmus Andersson was their first pick - in the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.
Kylington reportedly put his skills on full display while impressing Flames brass at development camp. So much so that just over two weeks after being chosen 60th overall he already has a contract in his back pocket.
The 18-year-old is super talented but has some holes in his game and is far from a finished product. As such it appears extremely likely he will return to AIK next season.
