We've got ourselves another close one here as Mike Sillinger scored on the PP with just :15 left in the 1st period.

The building is real lively as the action has been furious.

Not the least of which was Numminen's brutal hit on Jason Blake, from behind and into the boards.

Anyone else notice how not one Islander on the ice at the time stuck up for the Isles leading scorer? Ridiculous.

It took Richard Park's gutsy move (although poorly executed) at the end of the period to help out his teammate.

Unfortunately it resulted in an interference penalty that will lead off the 2nd period.

Keep it up Isles!!!
