Good afternoon everyone! I only have a few minutes but I just wanted to open a thread for tonight's game. Christmas has indeed come early for the Islanders as Johnny Boychuk and Travis Hamonic reutrn to the lineup tonight. Jaroslav Halak will get the start in net and Josh Bailey will remain on the top line with John Tavares and Kyle Okposo.

The upcoming schedule for the Isles is brutal including the next 12 games or so. Boychuk and Hamonic could not have returned at a better time. I'll have more on tonight's game and Saturday's tilt against the Lightning on Sunday but I wanted to at least get a fresh thread up for everyone.
