11:10 am: Uh oh.... it is reported that while it's not a real practice, Travis Hamonic isn't on the ice for the Isles and neither are Visnovsky or Boychuk. Pulock is not there and Conacher is skating on D.

7 am: It may be Cyber Monday, but the Islanders will be up and out early this morning for their annual Charity Shopping event.

At 6:30 this morning, players and their significant others arrived at the Toys R Us in Carle Place to fill carts with toys and games for children who won't make it home for the holidays. It's always a fun event -- for the Isles and their famillies. For the media who try to show up before dawn... not so much.

Not to worry, the ITV team always has some great video of the players recalling childhood memories and torturing each other. Think "kid in a candy store" meets "frat house mayhem."

This year's sponsor of the event is Package All Corp and the gifts purchased today will be distributed on December 17th, in plenty of time for the Holidays.

After this -- they'll probably head back to the Coliseum ice preparing for Tuesday's game against the Senators. The question for the day will be how a day of rest has helped Boychuck and Visnovsky.

On Saturday, the Isles proved how important their depth chart is for them. But how long can that last? While Matt Donovan did a fine job finally in the Isles line-up, it seems Reinhart may not have been available should they have needed him. Injuries in Bport too.

So Reinhart did play, but whatever injury it may be could be may show up again.

Inuries are part of the game, but when they happen in clusters -- a four letter word usually follows.
