Some news late tonight....

Doug Armstrong has announced that Brodeur will begin practicing with the team and a decision on a contract will be made next week.

I am told the Blues are confident they will be signing Marty, and it could get done as early as this weekend...

I have also heard, and we discussed this on today's show, that the Sharks and Ducks have also looked into Brodeur....I would say it's very safe to say we are only weeks away from Brodeur returning to the NHL....one way or the other...

On the Oilers and trade possibilities...

The Flyers and Oilers continue to talk tonight, and the Blue Jackets and Oilers as well have had serious discussions...

On the Leafs and Kings...

Meanwhile, the Maple Leafs are talking to LA regarding Mike Richards or Dwight King.
