11:27 am: Halak in net as expected and no other changes -- also as expected. Go with what works.

10:15 am: According to Art Staple who is at the morning skate, both Grabner and Boulton are on ice for early conditioning skate. HE believes that means Grabner isn't close to returning. But it would be nice to have Boulton as an insurance policy in some of these games. Get better Eric!

7 am: A rainy Monday here on Long Island and the Islanders will face the Philadelphia Flyers for the first time this season. The Flyers are used to having their way with the Isles, but like other teams have realized, THIS is not the same Isles team.

Ten points currently separate the Isles and Flyers in the standings, and the "Effers" haven't been very good on the road this season. Tonight the Isles have the chance to further chip away at their confidence.

With a day between games and an excellent performance, shall we imagine that Jaro Halak will return to the net tonight? Will it be a surprise and we will see speedy Michael Grabner back in the Line-up? Will Jack do anything to his bench -- unless he has to?

We'll know more as the day progresses. Stay dry, stay safe. We have 25 mph winds today. It would have been appropriate if the Leafs were in town. Nyuck Nyuck.
