If the Isles are for real, we're going to find out with this road trip. So said Jim Boomer Gordon on SiriusXM NHL Radio. As an Isles fan, he wishes them luck. So do we.

Isles are 6-3 and top their division with the silly name. But all that could change after this road trip as we head into November -- dreaded November.

A good place to start is against Colorado who are only one point out of dead last in their division with only two wins. Now, we thought that the Jets may have been a relatively easy win and we were wrong. So anything can happen tonight.

What will happen is that Halak will be sitting on the bench and Johnson will be in net -- so says Jack Capuano. All skaters are to be the same. With the exception that Kulemin may actually get to play more than a few minutes.

Both Hamonic and Bailey are on the trip, and Travis did skate, but he will not play.

A 9 pm start will give us time to settle in after work and dinner and get ready for the game. Although by 10:30, I'll probably be asleep.
