As practice ended this morning, Jack Capuano had decisions to make. Calvin de Haan was skating again with the team along with Lubomir Visnovsky. A roster needed to be set and numbers are at play. Griffin Reinhart got the tap on the shoulder. "Back on the ferry, kid." Calvin deHaan has been activated off the injured reserve.

Will he deHaan be back with Hamonic tonight? Maybe not. Art Staple thinks he may be paired with Streit on the third pairing to ease him back into game shape.

Halak will take the net again while Boulton, McDonald and Donovan are scratched.

If you are heading to the game tonight, wear pink as the Isles are supporting Breast Cancer tonight. They will also be wearing their third jerseys for the first time this season. Are they lucky? Let's hope so.

Also, from Cory Wright's practice notes today:

John Tavares on Conacher: He’s fit right in. He works extremely hard and he’s very quick. A lot of things people haven’t seen is that a lot of goals have resulted from him getting in on the forecheck and using his body. He’s not a big guy, but he’s getting in front of the net, screening goalies and wreaking havoc for the other team, it goes a long way.

You have to like how this team is coming together. You just have to.
