Only three days into training camp and the Blues are set to play their first pre-season game of the year against the Columbus Blue Jackets.

Jake Allen is getting the start in goal and is expected to play all 60 minutes of the game. He'll be facing off against Curtis McElhinney and Oscar Dansk, both goalies expected to get playing time for the Blue Jackets.

The Blues aren't exactly icing an experienced NHL line up. Only seven of the 20 players dressing played in the NHL last season, including Barret Jackman, Chris Butler, Nate Prosser, Vladimir Tarasenko, Magnus Paajarvi, Maxim Lapierre, Ryan Reaves, and Chris Porter.

Jori Lehtera is making his Blues pre-season debut in North America, and is expected to play with Peter Mueller and Tarasenko. Along with Lehtera, Petteri Lindbohm is also making his North American debut against the Blue Jackets.

Columbus will have two former Blues draft selections in their line up tonight, as Simon Hjalmarsson and Brett Ponich will be dressing for the Blue Jackets.

The official roster for tonight's game are as follows;

Forwards: Cody Beach, Rob Bordson, Terry Broadhurst, Maxim Lapierre, Jori Lehtera, Philip McRae, Peter Mueller, Magnus Paajarvi, Chris Porter, Ryan Reaves, Vladimir Tarasenko, Sebastian Wannstrom

Defense: Chris Butler, Barret Jackman, Petteri Lindbohm, Nate Prosser, David Shields, Thomas Vannelli

Goalies: Jake Allen, Matt Climie

For Columbus;

Forwards: Josh Anderson, Artem Anisimov, Jared Boll, Matt Calvert, Jerry D'Amigo, Marko Dano, Simon Hjalmarsson, Boone Jenner, Nick Moutrey, Kerby Rychel, Markus Soberg, Alexander Wennberg

Defense: Dillon Heatherington, Jack Johnson, Brett Ponich, Dalton Prout, David Savard, Jamie Sifers

Goalies: Oscar Dansk, Curtis McElhinney

Non of the Blue pre-season games will be televised and this game will not be available on radio in St. Louis. Be sure and check out the Blue Jackets website to see if you can stream the radio feed from their site. If not, follow me on twitter @Blues_Buzz as I'll be keeping up with the game live. Lets drop the puck, shall we?
