KHL Teams Hot After Ryan Johansen

With training camp open and Ryan Johansen unsigned - presumably not close to an extension - KHL teams are trying to lure him overseas.

TSN's Farhan Lalji is reporting that CSKA Moscow will be offering Johansen $5 million to join them for the rest of the season, and that they're not the only team to express interest.

Johansen's agent Kurt Overhardt has publicly stated he's still committed to getting a deal done with Columbus, and that Johansen has no intention of playing elsewhere.

With that in mind, it's hard to believe he'd seriously consider playing overseas and risking an injury for about $1 million more than the Blue Jackets are believed to be offering.

Johansen may have little interest in heading overseas, but that won't stop KHL teams from pursuing his services.
