I am hearing today that the Kings are talking to several insurance policy options in case Jonathan Quick's wrist is not 100 percent by opening night. The club is comfortable opening the season with Martin Jones as the starter but would like to have another veteran NHL option in case Quick's recovery -- which they wisely do not want to rush -- is not quite complete by opening night.
