The Pittsburgh Penguins have released their new third jerseys today and they aren’t blue!

The Penguins have gone back to an oldie but goodie and in my opinion did the best possible thing that they could. They went to the Lemieux/Jagr era Stanley Cup Championship design. This is terrific

Here is the “new” jersey released by the Penguins:













Any time you can have Crosby and Malkin rocking the same threads that Lemieux and Jagr did in an official capacity is a win in my book.


I don’t hate the Penguins regular threads but the Vegas Gold is tired.
