A few days ago, it was widely reported that Tomas Kaberle is a good bet to attend the New Jersey Devils training camp as a tryout player. This is still the case but Kaberle could still wind up accepting an invite to an Atlantic Division team's camp or playing in Europe.
I am also still hear Dustin Penner could be going to camp with New Jersey, Montreal or (despite their denials) Philadelphia. Specific to the Flyers, the team tries to avoid tipping its hand on invites until the last moment. A few years ago, for instance, the Flyers repeatedly insisted that Bill Guerin was not in line for a trout invite to camp -- even as Guerin worked out with a host of Flyers players at the team's training facility late in the summer. Ultimately, he did "officially" get an invite but did not make the team.
Lastly, I am hearing that Raphael Diaz has three potential invites. Chasing which teams are on the radar.
