You know your offseason is pretty damn boring when the biggest story revolves around a player being named the coverstar of EA’s NHL15. But such is life for Patrice Bergeron and the Boston Bruins. No longer the game’s ‘most underrated player’, the 29-year-old center beat out Montreal’s P.K. Subban for the cover, unveiled at the NHL Awards in Las Vegas, and has begun the promotional tour (if you wanna word it that way) for the game with some, uh, poetry.

(That might be the strangest sentence I’ve ever written, by the way.)

Bergeron’s become Mr. Reliable for the Black and Gold, so it’s no surprise that he also kills it in the poetry department. I also love how the one constant in the trailers for this game has been Bergeron absolutely torching the Ottawa Senators. No. 37’s recorded 17 goals and 42 points in 51 career games against Ottawa, so this is more than applicable, really. This game’s never been so realistic!

The fun didn’t stop there though, as Brad Marchand took to the stage with a song of his own.

There are no words.

Still, while these commercials are hilarious, they can’t beat Cam Neely’s commercial for ESPN News.
