Who saw this coming?

Two Detroit Red Wings warriors and their wives welcomed new babies into the world early Thursday.

Ironically, Pavel Datsyuk and Niklas Kronwall each scored for Detroit in the early stages of Game 4. Kronwall detonated a bomb from the right point to give the Wings a 1-0 lead in the first period.

Kronwall would later team with Justin Abdelkader on a pretty passing play to set-up Datsyuk's goal to make the score 2-0 in the second period. Moments later, Torey Krug would score to make it 2-1.

All the cool Red Wings are having babies. Whatever it takes to win playoff games.

Jarome Iginla scoed the game winning goal in OT.

Bruins now lead the series 3-1.

Mike Babcock activate veterans Henrik Zetterberg and Todd Bertuzzi to counter=balance Boston's physicality and skill. The move paid immediate dividends.

Surprisingly, Babcock started "The Monster" Gustavsson rather than Jimmy Howard who allegedly is ill with "the flu". Gustavsson is 2-0 in games vs. Boston this season and Babcock needed a hero.
