This should be a classic and may be the Bruins toughest test to get out of the East. And the final series to predict in the opening round. This should be epic.

The common theme among these two teams is the great amount of playoff experience scattered through both lineups....and the heart of those experienced players. The difference is on the defensive end of things where the Bruins are far superior and have a Chara. No one else has a Chara and no other defender in the NHL is capable of controlling a game like Chara does.

But these Wings can fly....no pun intended. well sort of...

The Red Wings are as speedy as anyone and in some ways resemble the Colorado Avalanche more than they do the Wings teams of the past...

Ek's Factor:

The Red Wings are an upset machine. They took out Anaheim and this year they are the sexy pick to take out Boston. If last year's mystique is to carry over at all it will have to show in game 1. If the Bruins focus and play their game it shouldn't be an issue. The Bruins are as solid an NHL team from top to bottom as we have seen in years.
