I am a really big Crosby fan and him hitting the 100 point mark tonight is definitely worth a late night blog. Sid is a special player. A player at the rarest of levels. For all his skill, he may be one of the most "lunch pail" working superstar of all time. Crosby has incredible skill, but he also goes into corners and is never afraid to get into position to score an ugly goal...or twenty.

In fact, I agree with those who have said, "Sidney Crosby is the best grinder in NHL history."

That is what separates this kid from those who have come before him...and that is why Crosby is so highly regarded among NHL players around the NHL. Sure, there are some teams with bitter rivalries...but when you get the players off the record they will all tell you how much they admire Crosby...his game, his work ethic, and his skill level..
