Quick is the better option |

It's been decided that Jonathan Quick will get the start in goal for Team USA's first game tomorrow. He absolutely deserves it, but is it the right choice?
We've been debating it the entire season, but this doesn't mean that we won't see Miller get any starts. Bylsma said that this is the plan for game 1.
I'm sure we will see Miller at some point, but the question is how much.
“Obviously I want to play and compete and be here and do my part,” said Miller. “I think he’s a great goalie and he’s going to do great for us. You know, see where it goes from here, and just be ready to go.”
I think that Quick will have a short leash, but well play well regardless.
“I believe it’s just for tomorrow’s game, so I’m just keeping focused on what we have to do to win tomorrow’s game,” he said. “Obviously in a short tournament, you want to try to make the most of every time you’re on the ice, whether it’s practice or a game.”
Quick has been having success the past few years and has been consistent. Even though Miller's stats may be down because of the team he is on, Quick is the better option right now. If he starts to struggle, Bylsma will quickly get Miller in goal.
I don't see Quick having too much trouble in net, because he's dealt with pressure before. The Olympics are a bit different, but either way, we'll see both Miller and Quick at some point. Bylsma has to remember the type of numbers that Miller put up 4 years ago, leading his team to silver.
Of course I was hoping Miller would get the starting nod, but right now Quick is the better option.
