A report from the Detroit Free-Press via Flyers Nation says that Tampa Bay Lightning goaltender Ben Bishop has been left off Team USA's Olympic roster. Surprisingly, it doesn't seem that Cory Schneider will be taking the number three spot. The report, as seen below, says that Jimmy Howard will head over to Sochi to join Ryan Miller and Jonathan Quick. That fact is interesting simply because, of the three goaltenders who were reportedly battling it out for the final spot, Howard has had the worst start to the 2013-14 campaign.

The Detroit Free-Press reports the USA goalie trio at the Olympics will be Ryan Miller, Jonathan Quick, and Jimmy Howard.
