When Have the Bruins NOT Made the Move? Preds looking at Matt Moulson. + |

Plenty of people weighing in on the Bruins situation today and I will as well.
Based on the people I talk to, the GMs at least, it is widely believed the Bruins will indeed make a move for a substantial D-man but not until the deadline. "Not a day before" was a common mantra.
However, at this point at least the Rangers Girardi is way less likely to move than people are speculating. Del Zotto is the D-man who will be moved and the Rangers are going to do all they can to retain Girardi who, unlike MDZ is at the core of this team and looked up to by his teammates.
All that said of course, should negotiations stall out at the deadline, AND should the Rangers be out of a playoff spot all could change. Personally, in my opinion, I don't see either scenario happening. The Rangers will be in the hunt.
The Bruins are also looking at options in Calgary for their D help. No specific names yet, but it isn't hard to imagine Burke and Chiarelli doing a deal....yeh....
Elsewhere, I am hearing the Predators, who are looking for help and need to get going soon, are showing interest in Matt Moulson in Buffalo.
The Senators, Habs, and Kings are interested in Del Zotto.
The Blues are still very interested in Scotty Hartnell, but whether or not the Flyers are listening at this point is unclear.
