Foligno back on top line as Sabres take on Senators

It's another Sabres gameday and Marcus Foligno has been moved up to the top line for this one.

I have a feeling the Sabres might pull out a win tonight. They have been playing better as of late and Ottawa hasn't been doing so well this season.

The lines were all switched up at practice and maybe that will help spark the scoring.

Foligno/Ott/Stafford
Moulson/Ennis/Girgensons
Adam/Hodgson/D'Agostini

The fourth line was not specified, but it was noted that Leino was skating with this line.

While I believe the efforts have improved for Buffalo, they are still seven points behind the next team in front of them, the Islanders.

The Isles have lost 10 straight games, and the Sabres have barely gained any ground at all. The Sabres are in a position to easily have the best chance and landing the #1 overall pick in the draft. Even if things improve and the team gets things together, I'm not sure they could move up more than one or two spots.

This is off topic a bit, but what is going on with the Islanders? I can see head coach Jack Capuano finding his way out very soon. That team just seems to stall every year. I feel like they were supposed to be good by now because their future looked so promising.

I saw someone tweet this earlier, found it funny:
Since the Vanek trade the Sabres have the worst record in the NHL, who has the second worst? The Islanders. I'd say we won that trade.

Any predictions for tonight?

As always, thank you for reading!
