Henrik Zetterberg will be sidelined for at least two weeks with a herniated disc.

The captain leads the team in in points with 11 goals and 19 assists in 28 games. Zetterberg has had a strong start to the season and has played consistently in spite of the team’s ups and downs so far this year.

Zetterberg will leave the lineup just as Pavel Datsyuk should be returning. Datsyuk remains doubtful for Wednesday’s game against the Flyers but should be back for Friday’s game against the Devils. Datsyuk has been out since being clipped by Ottawa's Jared Cowen November 23rd.
