According to Aaron Portzline, the Columbus Blue Jackets are frustrated with the lack of production from Marian Gaborik and Portzline thinks that “barring a dramatic change” the Blue Jackets won’t even attempt to re-sign Gaborik and will instead look to trade him around the deadline or sooner.

People in Columbus have grown frustrated with Gaborik.

Portzline writes in the Columbus Dispatch that the “supersonic speed” of Gaborik is missing as his wrist shot and non-power play scoring chances.

Gaborik said that he thinks his game is starting to come around and that he is trying to shoot a lot more.

To bring you back, Gaborik, who scored 40+ goals twice in New York, alternating good and bad years, wore out his welcome in the Big Apple last year. As I wrote when he was dealt last year " The long-running soap opera of Marian Gaborik and John Tortorella has reached its conclusion and it's Gaborik who is heading out of town. The Rangers traded Gaborik, who was a two-time, 40-goal scorer for NY, to the Rangers Midwest, a future divisional rival, the Columbus Blue Jackets for Derick Brassard, Derek Dorsett, John Moore and a sixth-round pick.

The first thing that comes to mind is that Gaborik must have really wanted to get away from Tortorella to waive his NTC to go to Columbus...The Rangers clearly wanted to move Gaborik and his $." As we know the additional of Brassard, Moore and Dorsett helped the Rangers make the playoffs, and the cash savings was utilized in keeping Brad Richards this season.

Now, with Gaborik seemingly having worn out his welcome on his third team, he is once again available. Gaborik, got off to a hot start this season but has no goals and just one assist in his last seven games. He currently has six goals and 11 points in 16 games, but his recent slump and the points made by Portzline, have him on the block.

So I ask you Rangers nation, if Gaborik is truly available and the cap constraints can be worked out, would you want him back? We have said that we need another scoring forward, so if you think the change of scenery would help, believe his shoulder is healthy and his game is starting to come around, could he be that extra needed when or even if Rick Nash does not come back 100%? Or do you think the cap hit, cost to acquire and struggles the last year in NY are even to preclude such a move from even being broached?

What say you?
