Just when you think it can't get worse

The embarrassment continues to grow for fans and the players themselves. Ryan Miller and Matt Moulson both admitted it after the last game. The Sabres have won just three of 19 games this season, and only one in regulation.

How Ron Rolston still has a job right now is beyond me. There is no way he is going to make it through the season at this rate.

On home ice, they've gone 0-8-1. Anyone who has season tickets hasn't seen anything good at the First Niagara Center this year, expect for opposing teams. Have to wonder how many people will be renewing them next year, and if the price remains the same or increases again.

The Sabres have scored three goals in the first period this season. THREE GOALS! That's 380 minutes of hockey where they've only been able to score three goals, which is equivalent to just over six entire games. During the opening period, they've allowed 26 goals.

The Sabres are averaging 0.16 goals for and 1.34 goals against in the 1st period! How can a team be that bad? In the three games where the Sabres have scored first, they lost all of them. Buffalo hasn't had a lead going into the 1st intermission once this season. They are also 0-13 when trailing after two periods.

You don't need me to tell you how bad the Sabres are, but some of these numbers are shocking and yet, no change within the organization is being made.

Their 1.6 goals per games is tied with Philadelphia for dead last in the league. They are also last in shots per game with 25.2.

Roster notes:

Joel Armia's nameplate has been added to a locker room stall. Ron Rolston initially said that Armia would be sent down when healthy, but...maybe that has changed?

Kevin Oklobzija tweeted "because he is on IR, he cannot officially be reassigned until given medical clearance to play."

Christian Ehrhoff is expected to return tomorrow and Mike Weber should be good to by this weekend. Zadorov will probably be sent down to make some room.

Harry Neale is being honored by the Hockey Hall of Fame today. Despite what you may think about him, he has been a great guy for hockey over the years.

The Sabres are 30th in the power rankings... "This is the league's nonstop punching bag. What an embarrassment."

When will we see a change made? Any other team would have tried to right the ship...this has gone on far too long already.

As always, thank you for reading!
