*MacTavish and Lowe were reportedly scouting the Flyers/Carolina game last night in person.
*The Rangers appear to be at a cross-roads with the uncertainty of Rick Nash's injury. It is a huge concern right now and what the Rangers will do next appears to be pointing towards Edmonton and possibly Yakupov.
*The Oilers are shopping hard for a goalie and that could be tied to Ryan Miller. (either if Anaheim lands Miller and trades Hiller or otherwise)
*The Panthers are talking to Edmonton and I have been starting to hear rumors of a major deal that would send at least one, possibly two vet d-men to Edmonton.
*Another source, "coach Eakins is looking for players willing to buy in 100% and they may not be in the Oilers possession yet."
