Yes, he is signed until 2021 at a cap hit of $4M per. But when you look at that number for top 4 D....it's a very workable number, especially because any possible future cap recapture would count against the Sabres, not a subsequent team. Ehrhoff is definitely a trade target of interest, at least that's what a source is telling me the Oilers believe...and I agree.

The source, in Edmonton, wouldn't disclose the other two teams but I have separately heard the Islanders and Panthers mentioned.

Ehrhoff would also be an instant upgrade in Philly but I haven't heard any rumors suggesting the Flyers have interest.
