THE BUZZ

This is the first meeting of the season between the Hawks and their opponent from the first round of the 2013 playoffs, the Minnesota Wild. The Wild, along with the Hawks, are now also part of the newly formed Central Division. The young team from Minnesota struggled a bit out of the gate this year, but won their last two games. They also get star veteran netminder Niklas Backstrom back tonight from injury.

The Hawks have also struggled to find and keep their Stanley Cup form, often failing to hold third period leads. The newly recalled Jeremy Morin sees his first regular season action tonight.
